I have tried this several times to make a sound clip with Gold wave v5.20 and I used to not have any problem with saving a .wav file with the properties of a ATRAC3 file, but now when i save the .wav file it skips like a scratched CD. I have un-installed the program and re-installed it and it didn't help, and i know i didn't change any settings. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Hi I wonder if it could be a codec problem. It would be a good starting point download it here [ Version 3.3.5 Full | 12.6 MB | August 17th 2007 ] Download the K-Lite Codec Pack install it and reboot the PC and try to make a new .wav file to see if that worked

after installing the codec u linked me too, i still have the same problem, it skips like a scratched cd and i still dont kno why, do u kno of any other wya of fixing this problem?

what model of sound card is in the PC we should try the latest driver to see if that fixes it next
