Hi, you'll want to be careful with this subject as not only can the registry be dangerous, but there are also some bogus programs out there that claim to fix the registry but actually create more problems.

Well...there's no 'best' in terms of registry fixing software.

I use CCleaner though, it has a built-in registry cleaning feature. It also creates backups of the entire registry before removing anything, which is what I consider the most important of all.

might i add, if you go with something that doesnt create a backup by itself, be sure to manually create one to prevent as much damage as possible
