Default [Fixed] Software disk won't Autorun or anything.

I have recently reformated my computer for many resions. And have ran into a few things that need to be fixed.

Here is one thing I insert my Palm disk and nothing no autorun like normaly, in Mycomputer i click on the drive its in and i get "Insert disk", also the same thing happens when i insert the disk for Power DVD. Its weard the disk will spin in there for a few secound and then stop. All my other software disks seem to work.

It sounds like the CD to me. Check it to make sure there are no significate scratches and maybe wipe it with something very soft (I use my eyeglasses cloth).

Are you sure that it is not a DVD and the drive is only CD-R or CD-RW?
