Default Want to get rif of outlook

I tried to use outlook express and am having problems with it and now want to move back to my ISP mail (btyahoo).

At the moment, some mails go to my btyahoo homepage and some directly to outlook, but often they don't ho to either - they get lost. For example to register in this site, I had to create a hotmail address for the confirmation email, becasue I never received the confirmation mail on my btyahoo address or outlook

But I have a issues with moving back:

1) I need to get all my mail back from outlook to btyahoo, or at least be able to still read it in outlook without outlook being receiver of mail
2) How do I stop outlook receiving my new mails ie: disable it.
3) Is it possible to find my missing emails?

Although I am good with computers, I don't understand how outlook works, all this POP3 stuff confuses me, so any help is much apprecieated

Hi-- and Welcome to PCHF

POP3 is just the type of protcol you are using... in order to configure it there should be a guide on your ISP's help site-- or you can call tech-support.

What is probably happening is that either your ISP
--or even Yahoo is filtering these emails as "Spam"
Spam has become such an enormous problem that ISP's are almost all using filters-- which are actually quite clumsy-- to reduce the amount of Spam making it to your inbox.

In order to be certain of receipt-- you would have to add our site to your "whitelist"-- maybe in both places.
I have set all my ISP filters to their lowest levels so that I decide what's spam.

There should be a settings option for you to do this... but I don't Yahoo-- so I'm not sure.
