When and where do you get this error? It sounds like you get it on your monitor. Is it when you start your computer or shut it down? If you get it on startup or shutdown that is normal and should not be a problem to you and it should go away within a few seconds.

Ok, try this..

1) Unplug the monitor from the slot in back of computer.
2) Open up your computer's case.
3) Make sure that the video card is as far down as it goes, do NOT use excess force, just make sure its down
4) Reconnect the monitor to the slot in the back of computer.

Then boot up windows and see if it works.
