1. Click Start and then on Run.
2. Type MSCONFIG.
3. Click OK.
The Configuration Utility should open on the screen.
click the startup tab then click disable all then apply and ok the pc will want to restart so let it. I just want to do this to see if it is somthing loading in startup that could be causing this duz it still do it.? Let me know so we can take the next step

well i do that all the time because i dont like for many prosses's to load up with my pc

so do you have anything enabled in the startup tab related to HP? Is there any thing in the add/remove programs related to you old hp printer is there any references in registry to HPPhotogallery.

Some one had the same problem but there hp printer was attached still they reinstall the hp printer software to fix it. Have a look here PhotoGallery Trying to install - TheTechGuide Forum

Would be somthing in startup thats why I asked you to disable everything there or it will be somthing wrong in the registry. do you use photo gallery if not use regedit and remove all entries related to it.
