Default nVidia GeForce 7300LE software problem.
Hi
I have just installed a "512MB nVidia GeForce 7300LE PCI-E Graphics Video Card" and im having some problems with the software. The Nvidia control panel is running very slowly (freezing all the time as a program would if i had hardly any ram, I have 2gb's of ram) aswell as not saving video colour adjustments that I make. Also it is causing "found new hardware wizard" to pop up every time i restart my computer. Could someone please advise me on how to fix this problem?

Are you using the driver disk that came with the card or the latest drivers from nVidia? If you're using the disk I recommend using the latest nVidia drivers

Im using the disk that came with the card. What exactly should i be looking to download then? and fhere from?

downlaod these and see if it helps..

ForceWare Windows XP/2000 32-bit

Also download driver cleaner and get rid o all old Nvidia drivers

Download Driver Cleaner.NET 3.1.1.0 Free Trial - Driver Cleaner - Remove parts of drivers that are left after uninstalling the old drivers - Softpedia

So should I use the driver cleaner..then install forceware on its own without the original driver disk installed?

yes use driver cleaner first then istall the downloaded drivers..
