Unhappy [Fixed] Microsoft Picture it!

After re-installing my Windows XP, Microsoft Picture it! publishing will not work. On start up it shows the error "One or more components are missing or broken" followed by "The GIF graphics filter is missing". I've tried to reload the software but with no success. All other software is working fine. Can anyone help me?

Talking Big thank you

Cheers GaRHaR, that web link gave me all the info I needed. It was a registry entry fault.

Dragonder.
