Hey guys, I got a little problem here. For some reason 3DS Max refuses to start up. When i double-click the icon, it will have the hour glass for a bit, but go away and 3ds max never opens. I try from start up, does the same thing. Tried changing graphics modes, does the same thing. I tried finding a 3ds max file, and opening that, to force max open, but nope.

When i check the task manager, it says 3DS Max.exe is running and using some memory, so its like its running, but it still isnt showing up or starting.

Whats going on ?

PC Cillin Internet Security 2007.. but its never had a problem with it before.

Ok, just making sure it wasn't NOD32 - I know there's issues between those pieces of software.

yes, yes i have.. no matter how many times i do it, it wont work.

Will i have to end up re-installing 3ds max?

bah nvm , im just re-installing of a sort , should be fixed now

sorry i haven't responded earlier - had a semi-final for volleyball last night

But from memory when i used to have this problem, i used to have to install Max...let me know if you get stuck again.
