hi Guys

Guess what? This worked perfectly!!!!! I'm so thrilled. Thank you both so much for your help with this one. Unfortunately I have another problem (like to keep you busy!!).

My PhotoImpact 10 application which I have been using for ages has stopped running. This was why I initially uninstalled it and then tried to install it, which led to me finding out that my CD/DVD drive wasn't working. Now this is fixed, I have reinstalled my PhotoImpact 10 application but each time I open it it freezes and I get the message saying the program has encountered a problem and has had to close, sorry for inconvenience blah blah with the option to send an error report. I don't know why this is happening. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice now. Any ideas? is there anywhere I can look on my system to find out if there are any errors with this application? I have virus scanned it and it says there are no viruses. Help!!!!

Hi FlashFairy,

When that window pops up asking to send report, select Send and then click on Close on the next window that pops up.

There might be a 3rd window saying "Click here for more information"

If there is - it will give you information on how to fix it

Hi there GaRHaR

I have sent several error reports but unfortunately there is no third window offering any information. There is an option to view what is contained in the error report (if this is what you mean) but I can't seem to copy and paste it for you to see. The program has been installed without any problem, it just won't run. Any other ideas anyone??!

Try installing that patch, it may help, if not post back
