Default Good net traffic meter (free)

I need to know how much, monthly, I download on the internet. I have a net traffic meter installed. But it gives the same reading for weekly and monthly downloads, which can't be right. Is there a reliable program out there, free, that I can use?

Hi davec,

@obscurity: providing a link to a google search isnt particularly helpful, i think Dave is looking for recommendations etc.

How long do you need to run it for, I have used the trial version of netlimiter and it is very accurate and useful but only gives 30 days.

Others might suggest different software.

All leading ISP's in Australia provide you with this information in their "toolbox" part of their website.

I need to get a reading for a month - so 30 days (free) is fine. Any suggestions please?

I suppose I could get one for a week then multpile it. The basic reason - I am thinking of changing from a broadband service with unlimited downloads, to a cheaper one with a monthly download limit. I don't think I would use anywhere near the monthly limit (I only use the net for research) but I need to know for sure.
