Unhappy Help! Philips speak driver software

When i Bought my pc (iQon) Everything was already installed and it was up and running and ready to go.
I recently re-formatted my pc because i had a virus.

I then re-installed everything i had and the pc seemed to work fine. Until recently i tried listening to something on the internet. I then found out that the sound didn't work. I also do not have the disk with the speakers because like i previously stated it was all completey installed

I have tried putting my headphones straight into (green) the port on the pc but i still get no sound.

If i click on volume control i get a message box saying this:

"There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click printers and other hardware, then click Add Hardware.

This program will now close."

I went there and it doesn't seem to do anything. On my volume control it says "No audio device"

My speakers are Philips and I'm afraid i can't say more then that simply because i don't know. I've tried looking online for the drivers but to no avail. It's simply useless, I'm getting very fed up and just want my sound back!

Please help, I hope to hear from someone soon!

Thanks a bunch

- Supr

Howdy Super_maged. And Welcome to PCHF,

Don't worry about your speakers.. What we will looking for here is your sound card brand name.. Please download everest in my signature and do a report on your system (it will be in the upper middle of the program atfer install)

Then post back the report here
