Unhappy Acrobat 3D

Anyone try this yet? I tried looking as the sample 3D pdf on thier website (of a brake assembly) and it turned my laptop off twice. While viewing and manipulating the 3D picture, the fan on my laptop turned on hard and within less than 1 minute, the laptop shutdown twice in a row.

To verify that it was the 3D file manipulation that caused this, I tried it twice more. Each time, when the fan turned on hard, I closed the pdf and within 1 minute, the fan stopped (became inaudible) and the laptop did not shut off.

Anyone else experience this? I guess the extra graphics manipulation overheats the CPU and the laptop shuts down automatically to prevent burn up.

Dell Latitude D820 less than 1 year old.

I was stunned that Acrobat 3D shut my new laptop down! Does that mean laptop users can't look at Acrobat 3D documents?
