Question Add/Remove Programs Tool

I was having some weird problems w/Add/Remove Programs early then it seemed I got it pretty much straightened out or @ least I thought I did!

Why r only some programs listed & some not? (Like just 4 ex:. shouldn't Macromedia & Windows Media Player be there somewhere?) I always thought all the programs that r listed in 'Start', 'All Programs' were to be listed in the 'Add/Remove Programs' as well.

Another ?, some programs' 'sub-directories' or whatever they r called r listed individually w/in the list. They have no 'chg./remove' opions - only show 'used & rarely'. Is there any way 2 fix this???? (Exs.: CP_Calendar Templates1, CP_Panorama1 Config, overland, MSXML 4.0 SP2 (3 files) - 1. KB925672, 2. KB927978, 3. Parser & SDK, and WebFldrsXP.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you may have - I appreciate it!!

Hi Kate...

the differences in this are all due to the way the programmer(s) have done their work on the backend...

unfortunately there isn't alot that can be done about it.
