can anyone tell me in simple terms , when installing a new program the instructions says to close all open windows.exactly what it means and how to do it.? i've been using a computer for only a short time and i'm not as sharp as i used to be , so sometimes it takes a while for me to catch on to a simple problem. the hard ones are easy. thanks for your help!

This basically means to shut down all the windows open on your start bar...Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, Outlook Express, etc etc.

So you only have the installing program on there.
