Default [Fixed] JS2E Runtime Environment...

I dont know if this is the right area... but im trying to free up space on my puter.... and in my add/remove section i have 3 JS2E updates... listing as =Update 1, Update 10 and Update 9 (in that order) ... is it necessary to have them all... or can i delete the 1 and 9 .. logically thinking the 10 is the latest one .... any help would be greatfully appreciated

Cheers <3

I'm somewhat certain that you don't need all of those; however, I need to research it a bit. For the time being, try the below. Let me know how much space it cleans up.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only
  • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    Under Main choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browser
  • Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browser
  • Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
    Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu.

You won't have any problems deleting the older ones - whilst Java does update regularly, it doesn't remove the old versions/updates from add/remove programs.

glad to help. It's a good little app, I usually run it monthly along with ewido just to keep the kludge at a minimum.
