Default Fraps.

Hey,

I while ago I used FRAPS to record footage from Windows Media Player with a DVD playing, it beat any DVD Ripping software that I tried. It saved it to AVI on my desktop and it was great.

But today I tried to do the same, but it was very slow when recording and thus so was the finished product, I messed around with FPS settings but to no avail. I have the latest version too, the same version that worked previously. I tried other DVDs but still the slowdown.

Fraps works fine for games though...

Any suggestions? And can you reccomend the best DVD ripper too?

Thank you.

Hey Vamp,

Have you tried using the same DVD that you did the first time, to see if the results are different from the other DVD?

If you are still getting the slowdown, let's rule out malware as a suspect. Please carefully follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature, and post back here with the two logs, (as attachments please).

Looking forward to your reply,
