Default .dll files missing or wrong...?

Hi guys

I just got a laptop from Dell (running XP home) and there's a problem with the sound options. When I start it up, it tells me that DevCon32.dll is missing, and when I try to go to the audio taskbar it says that the AHQman.dll is wrong.

I've googled it and there seem to be a lot of websites offering dll downloads but I don't know how reputable they are.

Any way to fix this without having to call Dell themselves?

Thanks in advance....

J

As the laptop is under warranty, a phone call to Dell will be the best bet. You start installing .dll's from a a third party website is a quick way of voiding your warranty if things go really bad...
