Question Mobile device popup in windows media player 11

I recently upgraded from Windows media player 10 to 11, and found the transition relatively smooth, but for one thing. At absolutely every opening of the program it asks me to connect to a mobile device! I have absolutely no idea what it is on about as I never asked for, nor even own a mobile device. I've went through all of the options and have come up short. I cannot explain why this popup keeps happening, but it's enough to make me consider compycide

The simple solution would be to rollback but a} I don't really know how and b} I'm not really that offended by WMP11 other than the little popup to be honest!

Is the mobile device connection window only popping up when you load windows media player 11??

I've not actually seen that - but i don't use WMP much - except the odd test here and there.

Yup, every time I open the program, the window opens, the library loads as it should, then POP! It appears. I've attached a picture to show you what I mean. If someone solves this conundrum for me I'm gonna use this smiley a lot more -->

I would imagine you have a USB card/media reader? I would suggest that you unplug that when starting WMP11

Nope, I have nothing connected, no card readers, the compy has no reason to be asking for it.

...and you don't have any internal or integrated readers of any kind or USB drives or sticks connected?

Nope, not one. Nothing is connected at all. There's a USB webcam, that's the lot. Literally there is no logical reason for it to be asking this question but it is, every single time I open the program.
