AM deadlink-- got a lot of favorites ?
Check em all at once with this app
Bring bad ones to top of list w/one-click
back the good ones up with one click
AM-DeadLink - Download FavIcons and detect dead links in your browser bookmarks
Another MUST-have (to me)
RoboForm Password Manager... not absolutely free...
free for the first 25 password/login combinations. Fully functional no nag-screens. If you have as many logins as I do (several hundred) you need this app.
After 25 you must buy it -- bit it's a lifetime purchase. ALL further upgrades are free... best web tool I own period.
RoboForm Features: Fill In Forms, Automatic Forms Completion, Save Forms, Search Toolbar
Eprompter is also great... got several email addresses ?
Want to check them without opening your email application?
ePrompter Free eMail Notification Software
completely free-- no malware/supports almost every email domain out there. Full list on info page.
Icon sits in taskbar/checks emails (I have 3 monitored accounts) every so often (customizable)
You can check and read/delete/send/forward... right from within this app. I use it to screen spam before it downloads at all.

I really must add
Dave's Quicksearch Deskbar. Search directly from your desktop whatever search engine you like-- without having to open a browser first or deal with large/intrusive toolbars.Sits right in your taskbar-- opens default browser automatically. Release candidate 4 is the one if you have XP SP2 Dave's Quick Search Taskbar Toolbar Deskbar you can customize this in many ways with a little file edit.

A lot of good stuff on The Portable Freeware Collection, all kinds of portable goodness. Site isn't
really navigation friendly but it's updated almost everyday. |
