Sorry, I guess I wasn't too specific. I converted the .dmg to an .iso with UltraISO. Then I burned the .iso to a cd. When I put the cd back in, it said it was invalid and could not be opened by Windows (or something to that effect). So, based off my reading of MagicISO, I have a feeling that there might be a setting or two that I'm missing.

can you try to mount it with daemon tools? THE DAEMONS HOME
I once had a cd whose iso didn't work after burning it but mounting worked.
I don't really think there should be any settings changed to tell the truth even though I'm no expert on the matter either. but if you can mount it and it works then you can copy it from the virtual drive :P

In a few minutes I'll be asleep(other side of the planet) so no more help from me for the next 10 hours have a nice day
Some brief instructions on daemon tools. install(maybe requires restart)->right click on lightning near the windows clock->virtual cd/dvd rom-> device 0->mount image and then select the iso file.
if there is no device 0 there go to virtual cd/dvd rom-> set number of devices and select 1

What burning software are you using? Most have an option to burn as an iso image, did you select this option when you burnt the iso file to the cd? If you just burnt it as a regular data disk, it only copied the iso file to the disk. When you click on your cd icon, do you see one file labeled XXXX.iso ? If you do, it only copied the file. When its burnt as an iso image, youll have multiple files on the disk, and one should be labeled boot.
