I had to format a laptop and I did it but now when I try to install Windows XP it works until it gets to 39 minutes then it comes up with a Cycle Redundancy Error and I dont know how to fix it. I tried 3 other XP discs (without reformating coz it wont let me) and still the same message
any info on how to do this will be really appreciated

I used a burnt copy and then I put in the actual disc when it cam to putting the code3 in but now the code wont work
so ill let you know how i go

Just out of curiosity are you trying to install XP by using a burned copy of XP and getting problems?
