Default .CDT file(PrintShop20) won't install from CD- how do I copy .cdt file to hard drive?

I own Print Shop v.20 (4 CD package) and recently did a reinstall of WinXP Pro. When I went to install again this program, it refused to locate and install the 318MB file titled PS20PART.CDT - that was clearly located in the following directory of the Program CD#2 if you went into Windows Explorer to look:

F:\Setup\ProgramFilesFolder\The Print Shop 20\Content\PS20PART.CDT

I've tried to zip the file as another filename, tried to copy in safe boot with networking and safe boot with command prompt, tried to clean out MSCONFIG like Broderbund suggested, tried to copy within DOS command prompt in Windows, tried to copy in Windows Explorer... nothing worked. Attempted 4 times to install CD#2 and only got the Install CD #1 to go thru... the next CD to insert was the Program CD. Every file on the Program CD installed fine except that one .CDT file. It does not provide any place to BROWSE - only options are RETRY and CANCEL. I tried RETRY probably 15x to no avail, then had to CANCEL and it uninstalled what it started to install.

I hope someone can assist this frazzled individual with this issue, please.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer, Sandra (mtndirtbikegal)

Here's what I have just found at Broderbund, installing from the hardrive:

Installing The Print Shop® 20 from the Hard Drive

In some instances, after attempting to install the program using the typical installation procedures, unexpected transfer errors or CD-Read issues occur. Copying the contents of the Installation CD to the hard drive and installing the program from the hard drive can help to resolve the issue. The procedure is described in the remainder of this note.
Complete the following procedure to install the program from the hard drive.

1. Close all programs and windows and restart the computer.
2. At the desktop, right-click on an open space and select New and click Folder.
3. Type TPS to name the folder and click away from the folder to save the name.
4. Insert the Installation CD into the drive. If the installation window opens, click Cancel to stop the installation and to close the window.
5. Double-click the My Computer icon to open the My Computer window.
6. Locate and right-click the drive icon that represents the drive containing the Installation CD and choose Open. A window displaying the contents of the CD will open.
7. Click Edit in the menu bar and choose Select All. This will highlight the contents in the window.
8. Click Edit and choose Copy.
9. Close all windows and return to the desktop.
10. Right-click the TPS folder (created in Steps 2-3) and choose Paste from the list. This will copy the contents of the Installation CD to the TPS folder. (The time it takes to complete this process will vary depending on the computer.)
11. After the contents are copied to the folder, remove the CD from the drive and double-click the TPS folder to open it.
12. Double-click the Setup folder and double-click the Setup Launcher icon to initiate the installation of the program.
13. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
14. After the installation, launch and use the program.

NOTE: After verifying that the installation was successful, the TPS folder created above can be deleted to reclaim hard drive space.
Perhaps doing this for disk 2 will work...
