Default MSN messenger+windows media problem

Hello all, I am new to this forum, and I am hoping you can all help me out.

You see a month ago, i opend a program called stepmania, it is similar to DDR(Dance dance revolution) But on my computer. i had windows media player on, and windowed. when i closed step mania, I tried to "Un" Window media player, but it seemed to have made the program merge to the right of my screen, and i couldnt see the client.

just the other day, i attempted to open stepmania again, this time with msn messenger open. same problem. it seemed to have made my conversation wibndows, merge the same area as my windows media did.

if you couldplease help me, that would be great. thanks.

Have you tried the old "trusty" Windows XP System Restore - to a point before you installed Stepmania?
