Default [Fixed] Random freezing in game to load.

Just found this place and I need to know what the heck is goign on with my computer. So far only does it with 2 games I play. The suffering: TTB, and WoW.

Each game varies in time that it starts doing it. But Suffering is the worst. Game will just freeze for no reason as if it has to load, but my hard drive isn't spinning any faster and my red load light doesn't blink or go solid any more than usual.

Hi Atokada, welcome to the forums!

What temp is your video card running at? I know the 5200s had a bit of a temp issue for a while. Also, have you updated your drivers recently? It could just be as simple as video card and chipset drivers.

Hi Atokada, if you right click on your desktop (wallpaper), and select Properties
Then select Settings -> Advanced -> Geforce 5200 -> a new menu should pop up on the left of the current window, select Temperature.

If it is too hot, a good way to cool it down would be to buy a can of condensed air and clean all the dust out of the heatsink and fan.

Please reply with the temperature.

My model of the 5200 doesn't seem to have a temperature option listed in the menu. But I can stil try that once I get the money. Till then I'm gonna just take out my dail-up modem since i dun use it and move my wireless card down to at least give it space and hope that helpes some.
