Ok I'm lost. I finally got into the BIOS settings but I didn't see anything that would allow me to change the VGA Memory. The closest thing I saw to that was the Frame Buffer, but it wouldn't allow me to change that to anything higher than 8MB.

The setting should be called "Onboard video memory size" and it should be on the "advanced" tab under "video configuration menu".

Have a look here for info and documentation for youre motherboard:

I've looked everywhere in the BIOS settings and there is no Onboard Video Memory Size. In the Video Configuration section it will only allow me to change the Primary Video Adapter and the Frame Buffer.

Could it possibly be that my computer won't allow those settings to be changed?

LGW, can you still help me with the temps? I've been waiting to hear back from you, whenever you have a chance if you can give me a screenshot of what I'm supposed to show you with MOBO I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Oh Jerry,

I am soooooo sorry, I absolutely did not forget about you. I had to take care of some personal issues, and have been gone for about a week.

On top of that, Motherboard Monitor is incompatible with ALL of the PCs we have, it used to work on my old PC, and it never occurred to me that I wouldn't be able to pull up a screen shot for you. I need to get one of the other guys to post that so you can see what you are looking for.

In the mean time, when you are in your BIOS, can you verify that under the Advanced menu, your CPU Fan Control is set to Disabled, and your Lowest Fan Speed is set to Slow, and System Fan Control is set to Disabled. This will allow all fans to run at 100% capacity, if it is a temperature issue, this should help.

Regarding your VGA settings, When you go to the Advanced Menu, and go to the Video section, do you get all of this? If not, what we may want to do, is flash your BIOS.

Dynamic Video Memory Technology
DVMT mode is memory that is dynamically allocated based on memory requests made by application and are released back to the system once the requesting application has been terminated.

Fixed mode is non-contiguous page locked memory allocated during driver initialization to provide a static amount of memory.

Both allows the combination of both Fixed and DVMT type driver allocation methods, used to guarantee a minimum amount of memory but give the flexibility of DVMT allocation scheme and performance enhancement. These mode options will ensure that a certain minimum amount of memory will always be dedicated to graphics.

• 4MB
• 8MB
• 16MB
• 32MB
• 128MB
• 256MB
Options may vary depending on board model. Establishes the maximum amount of system memory that the Operating System can use for video memory. This is primarily used for buffering textures for the AGP video

PCI/VGA Palette Snoop

Some special VGA cards, high-end hardware MPEG
decoders etc. need to be able to look at the video card's
VGA palette to determine what colors are currently in use.
Enabling this feature turns on this palette "snoop".
This option is only very rarely needed. It should be left at Disabled
unless a video device specifically requires the setting enabled upon installation.
