Default Photoshop 7 help needed "urgent please"

i had photoshop 7 installed on my computer some days ago...and i made a copy of the the {drive:Programfiles/Abode/photoshop} folder on a CD ...and then reinstalled windows xp after formatting my drive...after installing XP, i copied the contents of adobe photoshop into the program files folder from the CD that i made. when i launch photoshop,it says "files missing"...i think i forgot to copy some of the necessary files that photoshop copies in the "Windows" folder.
Can anyone help me out what to do or provide me with some information about the photoshop files in WINDOWS folder.

Hey prince2332!
Welcome to PC Helpforum!

I'm sorry, but you can't simply copy the program folder only, as the software has to be registered to Windows.
You can probably only do this reinstalling the program the normal way.

I think he means that you have to install photoshop so it caon be added to the installed prgrams list.
If you cant find the photoshop cd then theres also the option of downloading photoshop.

I think there's no way to register it to Windows except for installing it.

there would be a way, via registry exports if someone else had photoshop 7 installed, and prince2332 trusted the person who provided the reg exports enough to insert them into the computers registry

i used to have photoshop 7 installed...but long gotten rid of it due to the fact i never used it anymroe, and i've since formatted 20 odd times, and now run x64 windows.

there is a way you can get it installed..but i'm pretty sure i wont be allowed to mention it so i won't.
