I just got a new laptop running on windows XP MCE. I downloaded limewire on my laptop and the download and intallation were no problem. However when i tried running limewire the screen goes black, then after a few seconds the limewire window appears in the corner, while the rest of the screen remains black. The portion of the limewire window that appears in the corner is way oversized. Once this happens I cannot exit, not even alt+F4 or ctrl+alt+del works. I tried running limewire in safe mode and it works fine. How can I run limewire in normal mode? Thanks
Have you checked for malware? Can you please follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature, and post back the ewido and the HijackThis logs back here? Thanks,
