Default [Answered] Aol 9.0

Allright guys, here is the deal. I recently purchased a new laptop and upon installing my broadband I found that the aol disk was damaged. The modem drivers installed ok but the actual aol software sadly did not. I ordered a new disk of Aol over a week ago and it still has not arrived. I have tryed to download the Aol software from the net and found that it is a 289k set up file that downloads the actual software and automatically installs it. I do not want it to do this and I was wondering if anyone would know a direct download link from which i can download the full product, stick it onto pen and install it on the laptop, or even any general advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Ryan,

I'm not sure about the UK, but here in the states, you can pick up AOL CDs almost ANYWHERE!! They are in every store, including the grocery stores.

You just want to connect to AOL right? I think maybe I am missing something. Also, if you just want to connect to AOL, why is the file so large? You are already connected to your broadband provider.

Please clarify, looking forward to your reply,

Thanks for the reply. I have been looking for a while now in all of my local I.T shops, specialist and non specialist, with no sucess I decided to drive 30 miles to the nearest city and after over an hour of frantic searching managed to find a disk so the problems sorted : P

:o WOW!! I can't even go to the grocery store without a stack of them staring me in the face, LOL. Guess they could do a bit more in the marketing department in the UK, Huh?

Glad to hear you got it sorted out.

Look forward to seeing you in the forums.
