hi, today i installed windows vista. Its cool but i am having a very annoying problem with it. I use Bit comet to download files, and sometimes bit lord. I hav never had any problems with it when i was running windows XP, but now whrn i download a torrent to start i get the following message: Windows cannot find 'C:\users\annoyingthing\appdata\local\microsoft\wi ndows\temporary Intwernet Files\low\content.IE5...\[mirage-team]_naruto_180_[vostfr]_+mininova.org-+[1].torrent'.

I have no idea what this means and it is preventing me from starting any download!! I cannot have this! Please please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watch out though , Vista is only Beta and shouldn't be used as primairy O.S. It just isn't ready and not everything will work.
There is a big risk of bugs and data loss. Also the security isn't ready ofcourse , no doubt that there still will be lots of holes in there.

Btw , where did you get youre copy from?

LOL @ Joe5...

Of course it's going to have bugs and security holes before launch. How are they going to have a proper release with all the bugs intact if they get rid of them before people pay 500$ to beta test it for the first year?

For serious, I don't think i'll jump to Vista right away. It looks nice and i have to credit MS with doing a pretty good job with XP but it's just a fact that most software initially ships with bugs since a few thousand beta testers can't find all the errors, just the obvious ones.

People who write malicious code will have to cut their teeth on a new OS and that's when the exploits will show up. It's not Microsofts fault really as they would have to start writing malware themselves to really find all the exploits.

@Ron: Ofcourse that's true, but somehow the idea occurs to me that Joe5 knew that also, but he had doubts bout the understanding of the word beta by smokeycheech and he wanted to warn him, which is his job as Security Team Leader.
