OK ive a batch of files i need renaming, but ill be buggered if im gonna go through each on individually and do it, since there is like over 1000 of them, anyone got a program that lets you select a bunch of files and rename them to something else

Yup , there are a bunch of apps that can do that. I also havent tried them myself but one should atleast work as you want it.
