Sorry i didnt know where to post this, i downloaded a theme programme that changes your logon screen startup screen and appearence, it says uxtheme.dll was not found, my task bar and all my programmes have gone and i am only on the internet by using the windows task manager, ctrl+alt+delete,please help, dont know what to do.

Don't panic! Two suggestions spring to mind. First, if you right click your desktop and go to properties, you can change back to XP theme (assuming that's what it was before). Also, a restart may kick in any changes needed.

Ok. open task manager. Go to File > New task > Control Panel > Display > Themes and change the theme.

Well, you can reboot from task manager shut down > restart, see if it clears the problem.

i have tried that, didnt work, is there a way of getting to system restore through task manager without just typing it cos that doesnt work
