Default [Fixed] Programme removal

I loaded up the drivers for a twinkle cam( using disc supplied) during the loading process i encountered various probs and had to crash the comp to stop all that was going on( various boxes kept popping up)not sure what they where.
When i go to add/remove it is in there, but when I remove it still shows it is in programmes,i have searched for any remains of the programme and have deleted them, yet it will not remove from add/remove?
never had any probs before with it.
I have rebooted comp after uninstall, the actual uninstall wizard goes through its process?
Any ideas...Thankyou

Hey CartandPeg,

Nice to see you back! Have you tried using CCleaner and a registry cleaner? I'm not sure if I've introduced you to RegSupremePro. They are both in my signature.

Download and install CCleaner, make sure all options are checked, including Advanced, answer OK to all warnings. Click on Analyze, then click on Run Cleaner. Let it fix everything that it finds.

Next click on Issues, make sure all options are selected here as well. Click on Scan For Issues, then Fix Selected Issues, allow it to fix all selected issues.

Now click on Tools, see if your camera is listed under Uninstall. If not proceed to the next step, if it is, try allowing CCleaner to uninstall it.

Now install and run RegSupremePro, it will want to create a backup of your cache, let it. Then click on the Registry Cleaner tab, select Aggressive, once it has finished, click on Select, and choose All. Click on Fix, let it fix everything that it finds.

Let's see if that removes the rest of it. Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

No worries M8, that's what we're here for!!

Glad to hear that RSP came to the resuce again, and that little CCleaner, they should get an international medal. LOL.

My best to your wife.

As always, look forward to seeing you in the forums, stop by to say "hi" any time.
