Zimbo,

Thank you for your suggestions. I downloaded the K-Lite codec pack but unfortunetly the audio/video is still out of synch and my original problem (the dual language audio) came back.

And yes, codecs ARE a pain! Anyways, I suppose I will try the All-in-one pack and see if I have any better success.

As my computer was a hand-me-down, I did not recieve the Cyberlink Power DVD disk.

Sigh.

Thanks again.

Hi all,

Still no luck with any of those codecs playing the file I want. I've sort of given up at this point, as I CAN now play DVD's...I just can't seem to play that one file anymore (it's not a DVD). Such is life!

Thanks again everybody, for all of your time, concern and help. Much appreciated!!!!

Hey Antique Rose,

Sorry to hear that the codecs are still not working for you. Have you tried redownloading the file you are having trouble with? Perhaps with all of the things you have been going through it has become corrupted.

Regardless, I am going to mark this one as Resolved, as you at least have your DVD functionality.

Please feel free to post back here if anything new comes to light.

Look forward to seeing you in the forums.

Marked as Resolved.
