Hey there Lt Ozzy

Do you have a USB cable that can connect the camera straight to the PC, if you do could you try doing this.
  • Does the PC detect when you plug the cable into the camera?(remember you need to turn the camera on)
  • If you open My Computer does an extra drive appear?
Alternatively try plugging the current charger/port into a different USB slot on your PC.

If you double click on the camera icon it should open another window which may contain something like DCM100. Basically open the folder and see whether you can see the photos.

If you can then we can confirm that the camera and link are working the only thing that would be the problem is the software for the camera.
  • Do you have the CD that came with your camera?

Checkout this guide from the microsoft site,
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...amera_add.mspx

You should be able to link it to the program you want.

If this doesn't work then I recommend uninstalling the drivers your installed along with anything you installed from the CD, then restart your PC and plug the camera back in.
  • Do you remember the name of the program that used to run when you plugged the camera in?
