Default [Fixed] WMP - Windows Media Player Launch Issue

Hi,
You all have helped me many times in the past and every time it has been excellent advice that not only helped my fixed my laptop but allowed me to keep it safe so that I didn't have to return here with a problem...until now.

My windows media player (version 10) does not launch properly. I open it up and it automatically minimizes so that I can't see the screen/program at all. The only way I know it exists is that it appears to be running in the deskbar/ task manager. However, i know it's reading the files since I can hear the audio of them but can never see a picture. I have no idea what might be causing this issue. I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing but it only allows me to go back to another version, not fully uninstall. Any help provided would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much.

Welcom back Khameer.

If you rightclick the wmp 10 shortcut and select properties , and select the "shortcut" tab , what does it say after "run:" ? "Normal window" or "minimized" ?

It says normal window. I applied it again and re-opened it, and it appears that it open in normal but looks like the window opening is way off my screen to the far right. I can't see any of it though.

That worked! Thank you very much. Well that was much easier than I foresaw it to be. That has saved me such a hassle. Thank you again!
