I have daemon tools installed in my com and i opened it.
But i encountered an error saying
" Initialization error.
This program requires at least Windows 2000 with SPTD 1.21 or higher.
Kernel Debugger must be deactivated. "

My com is running on Microsoft Windows
Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp2.050301-1526:Service Pack 1)

This error is different depending on what you are mounting on DT. Are you trying to mount a game with protection...like starforce protection?

I havent mounted anything on it yet.
I could not even run daemon.exe as the error mentioned above appears after i double clicked it.

done, it has been fixed.
i had some program running which gathered kernel data, so i
unloaded kerenl module and daemon tools is up and running.

too bad my update probs in windows 2000 &xp section remains unsolved

by the way how do i edit my title? i want to add "[Fixed]" in front of it.

I just like to say that i think daemon tools is great coz i have a m8 at unee that send me games that i have to use that to play
