Repairing corrupt jpeg files
I recently had some problems with my hardrives after much trouble i managed to recover most of my files
but the problem is many of my picture file have been damaged or corrupted.. does anybody know a way or have a program with which i can repair them???

Howdy DuttyWuMan,
What type of corruption are you getting? Artifacts on the pic's or they just wont come up?

but the programs u gave restore every pic that ever has been on the pc. when it was at about 14% i already had 5gigs worth of pics..:undecided
in actuality what i need is a program to fix the images

When you say:

What utility/program are you using to view the pics - maybe it's that program that is corrupt.....

its files..
am using windows viewer paint etc.. and those programs are newly installed on my system.. and they also dont show up on my other pc..
saw some programs but ya gotta throw down a pretty penny for em.. i'd rather explore all my options before i do that
