Default [Fixed] Problems with Ipod update

Hi
I am unable to download the update required for my iPod.
There is a download page where you choose MAC or WIN 2000/XP.
So click on Win XP
Next page says download starting but IE Information bar comes up says Blocking Download to protect...etc.
Right click and Click Download File and get dialogue box - need to resend information.
Click OK
Straight back to the beginning-The download page appears again.
and again....

I have tried so hard to turn off the Information bar! Just can't find a way. I have added the pages to permitted sites and tried enabling everything in the security section. No difference. Is there anything else I need to turn off?
Any ideas, anyone?
Anji

Hi

Ok, let's turn off the auto download prompt bar in IE:

Go to control panel > security center > in the right panel at the bottom click on Internet Options > in the new window click on custom level > in the new window go down the list until you get to "Downloads - Automatic prompting for file downloads" and click ENABLE under that.

Select ok and exit all open windows. Now try your download again.
