Exclamation Any chance of suggestions?

Hi,
I recently had a virus on my computer, but it is now successfully removed (the virus was called Trojan Horse or something). I had problems such as programs not working, I was unable to download files from the internet etc. Now almost everything works except for the fact that none of my computer games run. I double click the icon and nothing happens, no error message or anything. I have re-installed them, and still the same problem occurs... Is there anyone that can suggest anything?
Thanks!
Daniel Hall

Hi there Daniel , welcome to PCHF.

Sounds like there are still some nasty's left.

If you follow the instructions in the "Prework" link below and post the resulting log files, then we can try to clean that up for you.

Easy way of getting to it would be to right click on your start button and click "explore".

Otherwise if you click on Start - All Programs, your should see Windows Explorer in the list.

Just double click on "my computer" and you are in an explorer window.
