Well for a while I've been dreaming of bossing my computer around "Computer do this" 'Computer do that" and so forth and Micosft says they have their own little voice software. I spent 8 hours "training" the damn thing and instead of doing what I say, it does what my bro says and screws up half the time if it even works :
So anyway, any of you know some real good voice recognition software I can use on my PC? Not a word processor voice software that types out what you tell him but software that recognizes voice commands tied to activate different .exes and stuff. :smiley_pc:

Well that's for people to type and stuff... i'm looking for a way to open programs by voice.

Example: "Computer, open FireFox" and FireFox browser opens up. "Computer, open Call of Duty" and computer starts up the game.

Google voice recognition for the blind. They make some software but it's not where you are talking about quite yet. The sight impaired software may be what you are talking about, but it's going to be pricey.
