Default DKU-5 (Phone Cable Driver)

So I got a Nokia phone and saw it had this port thingy to connect to the comp (metroPCS removed the damn phone browser so I can't download ringtones and stuff) and then I went on eBay and bought the cable needed for it for 2$ with the CD. So I get it, pop in the CD and install the driver, I then download the Nokia software needed to go along with the driver and connect to the cable to the comp and the phone to the cable. Nothing happens. I look online and it says that there should be a new COM port in the device manager, I go look, there is none. I try reinstalling and rebooting several times. No go.
Help? lol

:-D Darklord,

My advice to you is that you solve one problem at a time on that PC before adding new software and trying to make other things work.

Could it be that they did not only not supply the cable +cd but also disabled it in the phone itself?
