Hello everyone, l've just got a quick question.
I am looking for a way to record sounds that are playing/passing over my sound card. Is there free software out there that will let me do this? Thanks for your help, and your time.

Hmm trying to understand better. When you say "passing" your sound card do you mean is there a mic in the sound card? As for recording sound's here is a good free one..and better than the big buck one's. I use it and vouch for it..

And yes, l think we're both on the same page here. What l want to do is record sounds playing on my PC, w/out the use of an external microphone as to keep the quality of the sounds high. I have downloaded the application you'd posted and l'm going to test it out now. I will post back if it did the trick, thanks for the help and the reply!
