hi im new here and i hope you can all help me with my problem. i have a mpeg file thats HUGE and i want to send it to some people but it would take hours. so i was wondering if anybody knew how i could make this file smaller. its a movie file that i taped with my digital camera. thanks.

thanks, that could come in handy, ill try it, but if anybody knows how to make the file as a whole smaller that would be great. thanks.

You might want to give this utility a try. I am not sure exactly how much this program compacts your files, but it is worth a try,

Let us know how it works, if it isn't what you need we can try to find you some other answer.

that might be what i need but im not sure, i installed it and right clicked the file to make it a zip file, but i dont know what to do after that, i cant find where it is. i just need anything that can make my video files smaller so i can send it faster to people, cuz it takes hours.
