Default logmein: yes or no?

im looking into remote access software...i know about remote desktop and vnc but i really dont want to deal with port forwarding or firewall configuration.

i found this new porgram, logmein, that seems to do everything gotomypc or pcanywhere do, but for free...seems to good to be true.

what do you think?

I have used logmein Free (and the Pro version for the 1 month trial). While it is an excellent program, it is laggy (which is to be expected, not sure how Gotomypc is). In my opinion, either logmein or gotomypc would both be excellent choices.

I decided to download LogMeIn based on all the feedback. awesome product!!! exactly what i was looking for.

i havent found too much lag--Spacekid3750, did you try changing the screen resolution?? that helped me...

Nope, didn't try that, maybye I should have, I'm running on 800x600.
