Default Outlook Express - Remove Splash Screen

Here's a small fix that will get rid of the "Splash Screen" every time you start up Outlook Express. You will need to be familiar with the Windows Registry Editor for this fix.

PCHF Tutorial Movie

Click on Start and then run
Type in Regedit and then press return

Go to this location in the tree:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\%NUM%\Software\Micros oft\Outlook Express\5.0]

NOTE: %NUM% should be a long string of characters such as: {{495E427B-827B-4CFD-A525-2AAAD94DF5AB}}

Create a new DWORD
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Value Name: NoSplash
Data:1 = No Splash Screen, 0 = Splash Screen

That's it.
