Graphics in games

Hey Guys,

I recently bought a new computer with a nividea 8300gs graphics card with a dvi and vga input. i currently use a vga cable with my monitor, i was just wondering would gettin a dvi to vga cable, make any difference in the games i play and refresh rate?
