Ok i downloaded plugin then downloaded scan software but it does not show up in my programs to run
I did a search for panda and found the folder. inside the folder was a text document and when i opened it it said scan is not compatible with the version of windows.

It is scanning now

I will sleep for a few hours its 5:28 am here. Had to restart the scan because firefox crashed. I restarted in Explorer. At 12% again with 1 file infected so far. I will post the log as soon as its done. Thanks again for all your help.

Looks good to me, cookies are something everyone gets while surfing the net. Relatively harmless.

For your internet connection speed slow-down, we can ascertain that it is likely not due to malware. You may want to contact your ISP. Or I could get a tech in to further troubleshoot. Let me know.


Meanwhile, let's have you remove ComboFix.

Go to to Start > Run
Type in box

combofix /u

Note: the space between the X and the /u

Press Enter.

This command will:

Delete the following:
ComboFix and its associated files and folders.
VundoFix backups, if present
The C:\Deckard folder, if present
The C:_OtMoveIt folder, if present

Reset the clock settings.
Hide file extensions, if required.
Hide System/Hidden files, if required.
Reset System Restore.
