Hi damobear.

I have moved this thread to the [In Progress] section, as well as deleted your other duplicate thread.

Your original post has also been edited to include your HijackThis log. Please do copy/paste all other logs that will be requested from now onwards, unless specifically instructed to do otherwise.

Just let me run through your log, and I will be back with a reply shortly.

  • First please delete HijackThis from your PC first.
  • Then download HijackThis from HERE again, but don’t hit “Open”, but “Save as”. Then navigate to your desktop, and hit “Save”. After downloading, minimize all windows until you’re on your desktop.
  • Now double-click on the zip file containing the HijackThis.exe file. Select the HijackThis.exe, and hit the combination “Ctrl + C”.
  • Minimize the zipfolder, and go to My Computer. Double-click on C:/, then double-click on Program Files.
  • In the menu bar you’ll find “File”. Click it, then choose “New”, and then “Folder”.
  • Call this folder HijackThis. Double-click to open this – new – folder.
  • Now use the combination “Ctrl + V” to paste the HijackThis.exe into this folder. Now close all other windows, and double-click on the HijackThis.exe in the folder you’ve just created.
  • HijackThis will now launch.

Place a tick by the following entries:
O2 - BHO: ALOT Toolbar BHO - {14CEEAFF-96DD-4101-AE37-D5ECDC23C3F6} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {5AA2BA46-9913-4dc7-9620-69AB0FA17AE7} - (no file)

Close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis and restart the computer.

================================================== ==

Next let's have you download ComboFix.exe. Please visit this webpage for downloading and instructions for running the tool:

Go here ======> A guide and tutorial on using ComboFix <====== Go here

Please ensure you read this guide carefully and install the Recovery Console first. This applies to XP Pro and XP Home users only.If you have SP3 installed you will need to use the download meant for SP2.

The Windows Recovery Console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.

Once installed, you should get a prompt that says:

The Recovery Console was successfully installed.

Please continue as follows:

(1) Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
(2) Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.

When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.

Please include the ComboFix log and a new HijackThis log for further review, so that we may continue cleansing the system.

Caution: Never run and remove files with Combofix unless supervised by a qualified security analyst who is experienced in the use of Combofix. Misuse can cause serious computer problems.

Default Re: major probs had credir card cloned 3 time

Sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you, i had to wait for my friend to bring me over a laptop. I have had so many problems with people cloning my card I have now had 3 cards done for fraud and am having greif with my computer.

Whenever I start up my computer a blue screen comes up and i have had these 3 messages:
Each starts with:
VER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

and I have had 3 different technical information messages;
1 - STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x0324C1B2, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF755aa37)

USBPORT.SYS - Address F755AA37 base at F7549000, DateStamp 41107db2

2 - STOP: 0X0000000A (0X82C232EC, 0X00000005, 0X00000001, 0X808883CC)

3 - STOP: 0X000000D (0XBF439892, 0X00000002, 0X00000001, 0XF7AF8FA7)

There is also a message about installing hardware, getting the correct windows updates and removing hardware is needed and to do this in safe mode. But I can not get onto safe mode to do anything

Hi,

Are you able to follow the instructions in my previous post despite the BSODs?

If you can't boot properly to do that, I will get our resident BSOD expert, madmonkey, here to help you with those blue screens first.

Just let me know.
