am sure if i was too log on as user rather than admin thou, this wouldnt be there, which makes no sense either does it ...?

Hi guys i know ur busy its just my mate is driving me mad for her PC back, i can get on my pc at the mo but didnt want take hers back really untill got this one all fixed up incase i need to download anything or if things go pear shaped

I don't see anything strange with these screenshots you posted, or maybe I'm just not sure what your referring to.

- The hidden "sqmdata" files, and the "identitycrl" folder is created by Live Messenger.
- McAfee is not working properly because it is running in Safe Mode.
- The "All Users" is a profile folder that everybody shares. If you create a shortcut under "all users\desktop\", it will appear for everybody that logs onto the PC. If you create one under "user\desktop\", the icon will appear for you only. The basic Messenger that is shown here comes as part of Windows, so it can't be deleted, but it can be disabled.

I think your main issue at the moment is getting back into normal mode? For this we need to find out what this blue screen is all about. Since your able to access Safe Mode (with Networking preferably), can you follow the BSOD's link on my signature? If you have internet access when booting up with Safe Mode with Networking, great. If you don't, then you'll need to get those files off using a floppy disk, USB Pen drive, anything you have available to transfer these files, and then upload them here would be great.
